This department posseses live collection of medicinal plants as well as the seed bank.
It can also provide the following services through self and international collaboration efforts:
- • Establishment of medicinal plants fields for research and training purposes
- • Cultivation and production of native medicinal plants for adaptation, phytochemical evaluation and genetic preservation
- • Consultations in postgraduate research projects
